Tiny Harbor Town
★★★★☆ 4.2
Tiny Harbor Town is the comfort food of this roundup. You start with a rickety dock and slowly build out a coastal village — fishermen, market stalls, little houses, the works. There's no fail state, just the steady satisfaction of watching the place fill in.
What keeps it from feeling like a timer-waiting chore is the trading loop. You balance what your villagers catch against what visiting ships want, and planning those exchanges a few days ahead is genuinely engaging. I ended up optimizing routes in my head during lunch breaks.
It leans on real-time growth, so it's not a game you binge so much as one you check on. For a wind-down-before-bed sim, it's lovely, and the pixel art has real warmth to it.
What we liked
- Relaxing, no-pressure building
- A trading loop with actual depth
- Warm, detailed pixel art
