About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept throwing screenshots at each other, arguing about whether some new puzzle game was clever or just annoying. At some point we figured we might as well write it down properly, so here we are.,Everything you read here comes from actually playing. We don't skim a trailer and call it a day. Someone on the team sits with a game for days, sometimes weeks, and only then do we put a number on it. If a game bores us by level three, we say so.,How we pick what to cover is pretty simple: a mix of what's climbing the charts, what readers message us about, and the odd hidden gem one of us stumbles on while killing time on a train. Genre doesn't matter much — puzzles, RPGs, racers, slow strategy games, we'll try all of it.,We're small and independent, and we like it that way. Nobody tells us what score to give, and we'd rather lose a reader than fake enthusiasm for something flat.
